What is Virtual School and How Does It Work?

Virtual School can get complicated with the many options available.  For the majority of students, they will take 1-3 courses while remaining enrolled at Sickles.
Students may have one "virtual period" (up to two) at Sickles for every one course online, however, students are not normally allowed to drop classes they are current taking to take classes online - they must work out the schedule ahead of time with their Counselor.
Virtual Periods Rules:
-Virtual periods are set for 7th or 6th and 7th period
-Students cannot be on campus during their virtual period
Students will not have a teacher who is responsible for them
-Students must have their own transportation

Hillsborough Virtual  or  Florida Virtual?

Both options use the same online portal
Please select Hillsborough Virtual School when registering for classes
